FREDERICK — My name is Justin Riley and I'm 37 years old. I spent 17 years of my life as a labor construction worker. Back in 2016, a good friend of mine pleaded with me to set up a Facebook account. He said, "everyone has one, and you need one too!" I was never a tech-savvy guy, but I set up an account. Little did I know what kind of impact that a single decision would have on my life. 

I can remember scrolling thru my new Facebook feed and I saw an ad for a webinar "How To Make A Passive Income Selling Products Online". I watched the short video and I was hooked. I began to research how to build a Shopify eCommerce store, and a month later I had an operational store.  
I took my entire tax refund that year and bet on myself! I built marketing campaigns and set the store live on Feb 28th and was glued to my computer. 

I woke up the next morning and to my surprise, there was no Ferrari in my driveway. Nope, it didn't happen like that for me.
Three long months later and thousands of dollars later I finally heard the most magical sound ever "Cha-Ching" I got my first sale!
I had sold a $654.00 product online! At that moment I had clarity on what marketing channel I should focus on. 

To be honest it wasn't Facebook! Yeah, it was king Google. I was off to the races learning everything I could about Google & Google Shopping.
 
After successfully driving high ticket sales on e-commerce thru google I developed a theory.
The premise was that random interest testing on Facebook drove Non-Buyer intent traffic to my Facebook pixel. When I would try to make custom audiences (lookalikes) or copies of this type of traffic from dirty data the campaigns would fail to scale.
To test this theory I decided to set up a drop shipping store in a completely different vertical. I used the same formula of buyer intent traffic and then after capturing the correct "pure" data I created custom audiences out of the data.

The product I tested first was an umbrella. It was an evergreen product, very basic and it sold like crazy. So much so that I had to find multiple suppliers from China to support the sales.

Now, 3 years later and over 6 million dollars in revenue out of  5 different Shopify stores in multiple verticals I have proved the "theory" into a "winning system"
